What Is A Liturgist? A Liturgist is a lay person who reads a script during our worship services, including Call to Worship, Leading Prayer, Leading the Affirmation of Faith, Welcome, and Announcements, and the public Holy scripture sharing God’s word with the congregation.
Who Can Be A Liturgist? Members of Faith who have the gift and commitment to read. This is a very practical way to invite people to become more involved with our church.
You will receive training by our Lay Leader and you will receive a copy of the worship script from the church office a few days before your scheduled date so that you can practice and prepare.
Yes, I want to sign up to be a Liturgist!
